Orientation - Complexity

Networked structures in transition

Complexity and complex systems play a central role in data science. Complex systems are multi-layered, networked, and display new properties when combined. They are omnipresent in data analysis: in social networks, on the financial market or in biological ecosystems. Efficient algorithms, scalability, and an understanding of interactions are crucial to gaining valuable insights from complex data. In this part, you can get to know the basics of complex systems, experiment with swarm simulations or design an artificial neural network. Learn something about the beginnings of computer science at TU Dresden.
