The exhibition
Digital transformation is changing societies in many ways.
It makes everyday life easier thanks to smart
technologies, improves access to information
and promotes global networking. At the same time,
it harbors security and manipulation risks.
Research areas such as artificial intelligence
and high-performance computing are not only
accelerating processes in science, but also societal
developments.
Science plays a key role in understanding and
positively shaping this profound change. Data is the
foundation of this digital era. It serves as a universal
language. Science offers tools to make this data usable.
Transparency, security and comprehensibility of the
processes are crucial.
The CIDS – Center for Interdisciplinary Digital Sciences
at TU Dresden is dedicated to research on these topics.
The exhibition offers insights by conveying complex
interrelationships of science.
It enables a change of perspective and offers an
interactive experience.
