Smartphones, the internet, social media – data shapes your students' everyday lives. But what exactly is data? What influence does it have on our lives? And what is behind technologies such as chatbots or AI that we interact with every day?This interactive tour through the exhibition //DataSpaces. Experience Science offers your class the opportunity to discover the fascinating world of data science. Together, we will explore the role of data in science and learn how it is used at TU Dresden. In small groups, students experiment at hands-on stations, discover connections and get to know the world of data up close. In doing so, important questions of data protection and data security are addressed. This tour offers: playful learning and discovery, fascinating insights into research at TU Dresden, discussion and exchange on current topics in the digital world. Perhaps one or the other will discover an interest in computer science or data science during this tour? The digital world offers many exciting career opportunities – from computer scientists to AI experts!

Data is everywhere in our digital world. But how is data actually collected, analyzed, and interpreted? And what role does it play in science and research? This interactive tour //DataSpaces. Experience Science offers your students an exciting insight into the world of data science at TU Dresden. The motto is: experience science!

Insights into current research projects: Find out how scientists at TU Dresden work with data and what innovative projects they are pursuing – from artificial intelligence and big data to cybersecurity.

Experiments at hands-on stations: In small groups, students experiment at interactive stations, explore questions, discover connections, and learn about various research projects.

Discussion and exchange: A discussion round will shed light on ethical and societal questions around the topic of data. The students will have the opportunity to contribute their own thoughts and ideas and exchange views.

Shaping the future: This tour not only offers your students an insight into the exciting world of data science, but also motivates them to consider a career in this forward-looking field. Whether it's a course of study or an apprenticeship, the opportunities are endless!
